Cheers to new things. This blog is new to me. I’ve started many and always find them difficult to dedicate time to but yet I think I’m interesting enough to read about. Huh, never thought about how much I love writing and how little time I dedicate to it. conflicting I suppose.
As for now…
I have discovered the new and wonderful world of e-books from the library. That’s right, you can check out books over the internet and download them immediately. For such a small town I am surprised at how many people are on to this new trend, I know this because there are quite a few books I’m waiting to become available. So far I have read Heaven is for Real by Todd Burpo (in 3 days), I have started The New York Regionals Mormon Singles Halloween Dance by Elna Baker and have checked out Black Heels to Tractor Wheels by the Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond.
Heaven is for Real was enlightening and inspiring and I have a new love and hope for Jesus in Harper’s life.
TNYRMSHD, (got that?) so far, less than one chapter in and it’s pretty funny, seems like it might have a good outlook on the insides of mormonhood.
As for Ree Drummond, I love her blog and can not wait to get to this book, what an inspiring and multi-talented woman.
