Week 12

SNOW DAY in freaking April. Kinda sucks but my Harpster loves it. Right now we are staying in Silver City, SD in one of the cabins my awesome aunt and uncle own, Happy Trails Cabins. It’s amazingly peaceful and beautiful here and we are very blessed to have this experience while we are between homes and that experience has come with a full fledged snow storm. This spring snow storm was even able to include me in the scariest drive of my life filled with hills, hairpin turns, slick roads and 5ft visability. But now that we are all safe and warm in our nice cabin we took some time to play in the snow as Harper gets cabin fever terribly and between it being cold out and his mom already packing up the majority of his winter clothes we couldn’t stay outside for long so a drive it was!

I hope to put a pic of Lazy Baby up eventually especially to celebrate entering the third trimester (no joke it’s gone by fast). I haven’t taken a picture yet but hopefully we will get around to it before next Tues.

Week 11

Yay, April. The time of flowers, baby animals and hopefully we will be moving into our next house. Fingers crossed for us!

Anyway, took Harp’s to the Kid’s Fair. He had a blast, it was pretty much just a bunch of random kids things to play with, in and on. Here is is in some sort of snow plow or ice machine. I don’t know I wasn’t really paying attention to it but I know it was on tracks like a tank and they would only let 5 kids in at a time and they had to wear helmets. H loved it.

And then here is Lazy Baby, proving after that Easter pic that I’m not huge but my tattoo is spreading. Yet another thing I can laugh about.

Week 10

well well well. Looks like it might actually be spring. We are busy cleaning and packing and Harper just gets to run around free.

IMG_6375 And then there’s this. Looking way bigger than I am because it’s a dress. It was Easter, at the Preforming Arts Center women’s bathroom and I snapped a pic of how big I looked. It was funny. I’m not that huge. And yes, you get another grainy photo from me. You’re welcome. 26 weeks and losing count…

Week 9

Such a little man.

Sorry for such a terrible grainy photo, I really slacked on this part, mostly because I was bored with it. How sad right? But I was inspired to take a photo of my belly after my husband asked me “when was the last time you weighed yourself?” Most women wouldn’t take that how he meant it, pregnant or not. Turns out he just noticed a big difference in my belly and my weight was staying steady at +10lbs at 24 weeks. (I’ve actually had a hard time putting on weight) My midwife appointment was that week at my belly measured a little ahead so looks like everything is fine (or at least looks better than this grainy photo)!
